I choose Loughborough because it had been recommended to me by a couple of people I knew and it offered a course I was looking for.

What undergraduate course did you study and where?

I did my undergraduate degree in Computer Hardware and Networking from Middle East College (Oman)

How are you funding your degree?

I am on a scholarship from the Ministry of Higher Education from Oman

What do you enjoy most about your degree?

I have loved the way the course is structured, which involved  focusing on one particular module for three weeks before moving on to the next one. It is a new way of learning for me and I personally think it is a very interesting way of teaching.

What do you think of the teaching quality?

All of them are dedicated to their work and if anyone needs any help they will gladly help.

What kind of exciting things do you get to do on your course?

In one module we had to work with Routers as an ISP and set who can use our network and who couldn’t. I found this very interesting and gained a lot of new knowledge on the area.

What activities have you done on campus?

I have joined two clubs since I’ve been here, the anime club and salsa dancing club. Both of these have been really good fun

What do you enjoy most about being a student here?

The new experiences I have received, meeting new people from different parts of the world and many more things.

What do you hope to do when you graduate?

I want to do my PhD and so feel my degree will allow me to do this.
