Carl graduated from Loughborough University with an MSc in Advanced Computer Science in 2015. He is now studying for a PhD in human-robot interaction using machine learning and multimodal sensor fusion. When he can get away from the lab, Carl’s other interests include a spot of acting with the LSU Shakespeare Society, a nice hike in the great outdoors, and writing humour and speculative fiction. His first novel, A Dip in the Jazz Age was published in 2015.
