Amir comes from an industrial background having worked in Industry for over 11 years.  He graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2004 with a BSc in Computer Science and then he obtained a Masters of Sortware Engineering with Distinction in 2011 from the Open University, Malaysia.  His current research interest involves automation, artificial intelligence and multiagent systems.

He is currently pursuing a PhD at Loughborough University with sponsorship from the Malaysian Government Agency, Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA).
