Launch of Degree Apprenticeships

On Wednesday, 26th November, the Minister of State for Culture & the Digital Economy, Ed Vaizey MP, announced a new Degree Apprenticeship scheme designed to allow young people to complete a full honours degree alongside their employment while paying no student fees, and earning a wage throughout.

Loughborough is proud to announce it will be one of the launch partners for this scheme, with the Department of Computer Science and the School of Business and Economics working alongside a selection of top employers to offer the new Degree Apprenticeships from as early as October 2015. 

Applicants for these new degrees will apply through companies, rather than UCAS. More information on the partner organisations for the apprenticeships will be announced in the New Year.
