Alumnus becomes Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers03 April 2017
Civil Engineering alumnus Dr Christian Christodoulou, 32, has been awarded Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Fellowship. Christian is one of the youngest ever Fellows in the UK and the second youngest in their membership, globally.
Christian is the Regional Director for AECOM’s Bridges & Structures sector across Midlands, South West and Wales overseeing circa 130 staff across five offices. He has previously worked for BAM Nuttall and CH2mHill.
The Institution of Civil Engineers is an influential body representing over 90,000 civil engineers and technicians, creating and maintaining infrastructure worldwide. The ICE Fellowship is the highest grade of ICE membership.
Christian undertook an Engineering Doctorate at Loughborough University between 2009 and 2013 in the School of Civil and Building Engineering’s Centre for Innovative and Collaborative Construction Engineering (http://www.lboro.ac.uk/research/cice/)
