Nikolay Kondratyev was born in Moscow in 1993. He attended Moscow Chemical Lyceum (1303), a school which program was designed to prepare researchers in Chemistry. He was graduated in July 2011 and attended Higher Chemical College of Russian Academy of Science, where he had been involved in Organic Chemistry research in Alexander Dilman group in Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry of Moscow from his first year, completed 5-year taught program in 4 years and was graduated in June 2015 with 2:1 Specialist in Chemistry Degree and Graduate Qualification Work on topic “Reactions of Fluorinated Organometallic Reagents with Nitroalkenes”, including three related papers published.
In October 2015 he joined Professor Andrei Malkov group, where he is currently involved in research aimed on development of new important organocatalytic transformations.
