Project title: Validation of Raman Spectroscopy for Direct Measurements of Liquefied Natural Gas Composition

My research efforts are split between the Energy Research Laboratory and EffecTech Ltd, a specialist energy measurement company. My main research goal is to validate an online Raman spectrometer for its application to LNG composition measurements using a bespoke cryogenic liquefaction facility.

Additional research efforts include modelling of LNG sampling systems and LNG uncertainty budgets.

My research is funded by the Centre in Efficient Fossil Energy Technologies (EFET) DTC and EffecTech Ltd.
