Chemistry at Loughborough - 1st for Overall Satisfaction in the latest National Student Survey
Students have once more given Loughborough University's Department of Chemistry a resounding thumbs up in the latest National Student Survey - the results of which were released today (10 August 2016).
The annual survey, conducted by Ipsos Mori on behalf of UK funding bodies, provides useful information for prospective students, as well as helping universities identify areas of improvement.
In the 2016 survey, Loughborough's Chemistry department again scores highly, ranking:
- 1st in the UK for overall student satisfaction in Chemistry (based on mean scores for overall satisfaction in all areas)
- 1st in the UK for satisfaction with Teaching in Chemistry (based on mean scores)
- 1st in the UK for satisfaction with Assessment and Feedback in Chemistry (based on mean scores)
- 1st across the board in the UK for all summary questions (Academic Support, Learning Resources etc.) based on mean scores
The results offer further recognition of the supportive and stimulating learning environment the Department strives to provide for its students. Earlier in the year, Chemistry at Loughborough was ranked 3rd in The Guardian University League Table.
The high quality student experience the Department of Chemistry offers its students will be further enhanced in 2017 with the opening of the University's brand new STEMLab facilities.
