Remote Control of Experiments Enters the Lecture Theatre

One of the Department’s Lecturers, Prof Zoltan Nagy, has found an ideal way of illustrating aspects of his process control courses by remotely linking to experiments running in real time during his lectures. The process control laboratory offers 8 state-of-the-art computer controlled experimental rigs, which are all accessible from anywhere in the world.

This resource means that students are provided with visual examples of the theory covered whilst the lecture is actually in progress, making it easier to absorb and understand.

See how Loughborough students can perform their process control experiments in the lab, from the classroom or from their home at www.ilough-lab.com.
