Dr Diganta B Das Delivers Keynote Speech

October 14

Dr Diganta B Das recently delivered a keynote lecture at the 1st International Conference on Green Technologies for Environmental Pollution Control and Prevention held at the National Institute of Technology in Tiruchirapalli, India on 27th-29th September 2014.

Diganta’s lecture was titled ‘Dynamic capillary pressure theory in the context of geological sequestration of CO2’, and, as the title suggests, it discussed how general capillary pressure theories for multiphase flow in porous media could be applied in geological sequestration of CO2. The conference was a large gathering of interested academics and students: it received more than 400 abstracts and brought together almost 350 participants from across the world.

Diganta is currently a Senior Lecturer here at Loughborough University; joining us following his post as a lecturer at the University of Oxford and as a visiting fellow at Princeton University in the United States of America.
