Marco S. Lucas performs research in the fields of (i) water engineering and treatment, (ii) environmental chemistry, (iii) advanced oxidation processes (photocatalysis, Fenton, photo-Fenton, ozonation), (iv) biological treatment processes, (v) combination of AOPs and biological processes, (vi) microorganisms’ inactivation.
