Anna has a degree in Sociology from the University of Leicester, where she was a student from 2007 – 2010. On completion of her degree, Anna completed an MA in social work, which included placements both within a Child Protection Team and at a charity working with adults with both learning and physical disabilities.

Prior to joining Loughborough University, Anna has worked for Menphys Children’s Charity and has spent recent years working, in Child Protection and Fostering & Adoption Teams, within the Local Authority. Anna was made Senior Practitioner of a Child Protection Team in 2015, where responsibilities included the supervision of staff.

Overview of my role

As your Wellbeing Adviser, my aim is to support you during your time at Loughborough University, working together to help you to achieve academic, social and personal success. Students are able to access meaningful contact, in a timely manner, to receive appropriate support and signposting. As Wellbeing Adviser, I can also provide you with accessible resources and information, enabling you to take control of your wellbeing.

I can offer advice and guidance within a safe space and with regard to a range of wellbeing issues, including, but not limited to:
