Locating the department
Chemical Engineering is located on the West Park of the campus. Visit our campus map for more information about the Department's location.
The nearest car park to the Department is Car Park One, which is a large multi-storey with ample spaces. A parking permit and directions will be provided on arrival at our Security Gatehouse.
Our Reception is on the first floor of the Chemical Engineering Building.
London is one-and-a-half hours away by train, Birmingham one hour and Manchester and Leeds around two hours. Taxis are normally available from outside Loughborough train station and the journey should cost around £5-£6.
The University shuttlebus runs to and from Loughborough station every 20 minutes. Kinchbus Number 7 commences from Loughborough Railway station and brings you straight to campus. There is an alighting point outside the Electronic and Electrical Engineering Department (which is also just a few yards from the entrance to Chemical Engineering).
