Working with business

Enterprise is an integral part of our School’s activities, providing context and purpose to our work. It ensures that the knowledge created from our research and teaching has a route to impact for the creative and cultural industries, commerce and society at large.

The School offers opportunities to help your organisation develop new capabilities and meet its strategic aims through a number of short term projects, medium term partnerships or long term relationships.

There are several core elements to our enterprise activity:

  • Research projects that focus on measurable outcomes, including those which are applied or commercialised by partners outside the University
  • The application of our expertise to external organisations through formal knowledge transfer exchange
  • Commercialisation of an idea or product by graduates using the University's Studio
  • Opportunities for external organisations to access fresh ideas by working with our students

We are proud of our connections with regional, national and international organisations and are happy to discuss proposals.

If you would like to discuss collaboration opportunities please contact our Associate Dean of Enterprise, Andrew Selby.
