Final-year Textiles students are regularly chosen to take their work to New Designers at the Business Design Centre in London. The exhibition takes place in June/July each year and features hundreds of graduates. It is attended by high-profile buyers, making it an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their work to key industry contacts. In addition, a number of awards and prizes are given out.
In 2018, several Loughborough students sold their work and Charlotte Munson (Printed Textiles pathway) won both the Kingfisher Design Talent Award (six-month paid internship) and the Turner Bianca Associates Prize (four-week paid internship).
