“I’ve loved doing joint honours – I go from having a really interesting discussion about Victorian literature to ballet.” Kat Freeman, English and Drama BA (Hons)
"The staff are accomplished in their specific field of study, allowing you to experience different styles, practitioners and theatrical traditions from across the globe." Laura Dodman, Drama BA (Hons)

Drama at Loughborough is characterised by a combination of theory and practice, bringing acting, playwriting, dramaturgy and alternative performance methodologies together with theories of theatre and gender, philosophy and politics. Our Drama courses engage the relationships between applied, ‘real life’ and traditional techniques and the expanding arena of digital practice.
