Details of our research groups →

Our research programme is versatile and can be purely theoretical or a practice-led interrogation of creative processes and their outcomes.
We are particularly interested in research that includes reflection within and across the boundaries of our disciplines, and encourage projects which have the potential to make a substantive contribution to the academic and social / economic impact of our research.

As a research student you will be involved in leading research activities, and provided with research skills training from internationally recognised academics. If you are working on a practice-based doctorate you will have access to our state-of-the-art specialist facilities, including our theatre spaces, technical studios and state-of-the-art hubs. We are happy to support projects that exploit the new technologies available both in the School and across the University.
