Graphics students recognised with academic excellence awards
Helena Davey and Daniel Herrick, Graphic Communication and Illustration students now in their second and third years respectively, were two of 22 students chosen to receive Loughborough University Academic Excellence Awards.
Helena and Daniel were presented with a certificate and a cheque for £500 at a celebratory dinner attended by the Vice-Chancellor and Deans from each of the University’s schools.
Professor Alison Yarrington, Dean of the School of the Arts, English and Drama, said: “I was delighted to see Helena and Daniel receive their awards. It is an honour for them and for the School.”
The awards are an annual event at the University, with a first- and second-year student chosen from each school.
