Loughborough’s Art and Design Foundation Studies is a fast-paced, fun and creative course that encourages you to develop your artistic ability. You will learn a broad range of skills before tailoring the course to what you enjoy and eventually choosing the specialist undergraduate course best suited to you.

Our internationally renowned staff will help you grow as an artist over the year, teaching you both theoretical and practical learning in 3D Design, Fine Art, Graphic Communication, Illustration and Textiles. You will gain a solid grounding in the conceptual, practical, historical and theoretical elements of each of these subjects, and then be given the freedom to tailor the course to focus on your preferred area.
