‘Bowdon Bricks’: a project which primarily focuses on the unusual occurrences found in weathered and distressed walls.

Taking inspiration from the weathered walls in and around my home town of Bowdon, the collection explores the random colours found amongst distressed bricks when examined closely, such as natural foliage and faded graffiti. The collection is a mix of heritage and modern using yarns such as wool and mohair contrasting against unusual combinations of colours and structures in order to portray the breakdown of uniformity in weathered walls.
