Arts Degree Show2016

Leah Bravo

The exploration of visual culture is highly evident in my work and I have chosen to solve briefs that tackle the visual culture of the past, present and future.

My own personal visual language tends to be refined and contemporary; however, collaborations with other designers have allowed me to become highly versatile. Art direction has surfaced as a key part of my projects. This is especially evident in Fläk, my self-published photographic journal, where I worked closely with contributors and curated the photographs.

I work across many specialisms such as branding, service design, editorial design and typography. Significantly, the exploration of typography has become a key element in my work. I work with my own personal visual language whilst being aware of traditional and contemporary typographic trends.
