As a designer my main fields of interest are brand/visual identity, communication through advertising and user interface design, which have been the themes of projects I have undertaken during the course. Other interests include editorial and packaging design.
I have developed the skills to tackle a brief and work through various design stages systematically to produce a creative solution. The main focus of my project work is to create coherent, conceptual visuals which can be presented to clients and users prior to the finished outcome.
For my final project with an interest in the aviation industry in mind, I set myself a rebranding brief for Malaysia Airlines which challenged me to refresh the brand’s image amid economic and personal crisis. It was an interesting project to be involved with on many levels; aiming to produce visually stimulating graphics while tackling emotional aspects such as sensitivity, national pride and customer experience. In the future I would love to combine my passion of sport with my work. I am looking forward to being involved with many stimulating projects, where I can apply all the skills I have developed at Loughborough.
