My practice considers negotiations, the processes that shape our navigation of the world, and the fundamental situations which rule the everyday.
The materials used reference the familiar, specifically with regards to the architecture that shapes the navigation of existence. The properties of these materials dictate the sculptural compositions that arise, with their interactions being vital in creating a state of equilibrium. The roles of gravity and friction often facilitate the stability of the sculpture, with real world encounters between object, human and the forces dictated by physics, being explored by abstracting architectural conception to create sculpture with a playful nature.
