Arts Degree Show2016

Ashleigh Woodhall

Exploring the convoluted and estranged relationship between the natural environment and human culture, the practice seeks to consider the ongoing discourse of social ecological concern.

The notions of propagation, growth and harvest surrounding the practice seeks to reconnect the physical bond lost since industrial systems reigned. The care humans can provide, for the food that nature can offer. The work encourages the viewer to engage with the natural environment by considering the themes of local food production, garden spaces and community.
