LU Arts

LU Arts is the arts programme of Loughborough University. It offers staff, students and the wider community a range of arts activities to see, get involved in, and enjoy. In addition to live music and literature events by internationally recognised performers, companies and writers, a contemporary art strand called Radar produces annual programmes of artist commissions, talks, workshops, and other activities themed around research being undertaken at the university.

There are also opportunities for creative development including classes in painting and pottery, University Choir and String Orchestra, Book Club, as well as subsidised music tuition an three annual Music Scholarships. Within its premises LU Arts also has a number of music rehearsal rooms equipped with pianos and project and film spaces, all of which are available free of charge to staff and students for creative activities.
