LeakfinderST – Leak detection and location in water pipes

We helped Severn Trent Water and Echologics launch a new product to quickly and cost-effectively pinpoint underground leaks. It has the potential to save up to £5m a year in the UK alone – and international interest is growing fast.

During his placement at Stanton Bonna Concrete, Robert looked at data from the Highways Agency and determined the most common types and sizes of catchpits used. This data was then used to create a new standard design of catchpit product.
