Selected research projects

Past research projects:

  • Carrying out a file based coupled steady and unsteady virtual simulation of compressor / combustor components of a gas turbine rig using a compressible, density based, vertex-centred turbomachinery flow solver and incompressible, pressure based, cell-centred combustor flow solver.
  • External aerodynamics of low speed aircrafts.

Current research projects:

  • The work involves the development of next generation cooling systems and their ability to absorb acoustic waves due to unsteady heat release.
