SET Awards Nominees September 2007
The Department of Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering has had two graduates shortlisted in the SET Awards 2007: Ronan Bradley (in the category "Best Mechanical Engineering Student") and Ewan Porteous (in the category "Best Maritime Technology Student).
There are only three shortlisted candidates in each category. The winner of the awards will be announced on 20th September at a dinner at Alexandra Palace. It is a remarkable achievement by both students.
Update
Ewan Porteous has won the SET Award in the category "Best Maritime Technology Student", with his final-year project entitled "Wave-like Propulsion of Small Marine Craft". This is a magnificent achievement and Ewan has the congratulations of the whole department.
