On 14th July 2016 the Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering classes of 2015 graduated!

The day consisted of the traditional graduands ceremony, where students were congratulated by; Sir Nigel Rudd, Chancellor of Loughborough University, the Vice Chancellor and President of the University - Professor Robert Allison and the Dean of the School of Aeronautical, Automotive, Chemical and Materials Engineering – Professor Rachel Thomson. The students were then conferred their awards by the Head of Department, Dr Adrian Spencer and from that moment, became graduates of Loughborough University.

Following the ceremony, the graduates and their family and friends joined together, firstly to take photos near the famous fountain and then everyone returned to the Department to celebrate with academics, enjoying a celebratory buffet in a marquee erected especially for the day.

See the photos and details of prizes here.

We would like to congratulate all of our Graduates and we wish them all the very best for their future academic and work endeavours!
