Responsibilities
- Management of all the Department's IT infrastructure
- Configuration and administration of the department's servers on both WIndows and Linux/Unix platforms.
- Management of the undergraduate PC laboratories.
- Health and Safety aspects of IT usage.
- Developing new IT systems and solutions.
- Web site design and maintenance
Research and other interests
- Still publishing in the areas of Geophysics and Geophysical Instrumentation Development based on work carried out with former employer.
- Data acquisition (software and hardware).
