By road
Loughborough University is less than two miles away from junction 23 of the M1 motorway.

Locating the Department
Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering is located in the Stewart Miller Building which is in the West Park of the campus. Visit our campus map for more information about the Department's location.
The Security Staff at the entrance to the University will provide you with a parking instructions and a visitor pass which must be displayed in your vehicle whilst on campus. On arrival at the Department please report to the main reception which is on the first floor of the Stewart Miller Building.
By rail
London is one-and-a-half hours away by train, Birmingham one hour and Manchester and Leeds around two hours. Taxis are available from outside Loughborough train station and the journey should cost around £5-£6.
The University shuttlebus runs to and from Loughborough station every 20 minutes. Kinchbus Number 7 commences from Loughborough Railway station and brings you straight to campus. There is an alighting point outside the Electronic and Electrical Engineering Department (which is less than a minute’s walk from the Stewart Miller Building/Aeronautical and Automotive Department).
By air
