Equality and Diversity Sub-Committee

The Equality and Diversity sub-committee’s broad function is to support the University in ensuring its compliance with current and future equality legislation, and with regard to equality and diversity legislation in the field of employment within Loughborough University.

The sub-committee monitors and makes recommendations in the development and implementation of the University’s equality and diversity policies in line with current legislation and general good practice.

The sub-committee raises awareness of equality matters amongst all staff and students of the University, though a planned programme of staff development.

The sub-committee reports into the Human Resource committee and offers support and advice on the implementation of the equality aspects of the Human Resources Strategy and to further develop this area.
