Alumna embarks upon African conservation trip

Michelle Campbell is about to embark upon a new adventure with her partner travelling Southern, Central and Eastern Africa on a wildlife conservation expedition.

Michelle and her partner Grant will join people in the most remote parts of the continent to work to preserve Africa’s rare flora and fauna.

With a range of skills gained from working in the safari lodge industry including guiding, tracking animals and educating people about wildlife and conservation, the pair will work to conserve nature in the areas in need of most assistance.

Having worked in Africa as a Safari guide after leaving the banking industry, 2009 International Economics alumna Michelle is passionate about helping animals to thrive in their natural habitats.

You can follow her journey via the Wild Wonderful World website, set up to document Michelle and Grant’s travel through Africa, which also boasts an array of wildlife photography.
