Loughborough University currently subsidises 3 school holiday playschemes for the children of staff.  The subsidy is provided to help staff manage their home and work commitments during school holidays

Camp Energy is run by Radmoor Day Nursery.  It runs during the Easter and Summer school holidays at the Greenfields site off Holt Drive/Beacon Avenue.  For further information please contact Tel 01509 618239.  Email: nursery.enquiries@loucoll.ac.uk

Radmoor Holiday Club run by Radmoor Day Nursery and based at Loughborough College.  Their playscheme runs during half terms as well as Easter and the Summer holidays.  Please contact 01509 618239 for further details. 

Kings Camps based at Loughborough Grammar School.  This runs during Easter and four weeks over the summer holidays from the end of July.  Bookings must be either for a full 5 day week or for 3 days Tuesday-Thursday.  The main activities run 10am-4pm but Xtra Time is provided for an additional cost from 8.30am and up to 5.30pm.  The scheme runs for 5 – 17 year olds (under 5s can only be accepted if they are in compulsory full-time education).   In addition to the University subsidy, there may be a group booking discount.  Please contact 0845 643 5272 or visit www.kingscamps.org

Sports Camp is run on campus by the Sports Development Centre.  It runs over the Summer when bookings must be for 3 or 5 days per week and also at Christmas when individual days can be booked.  It is a sports based scheme taking children upto the age of 14.  Please contact the Sports Reception on Tel 01509 226250. 

The playschemes are subsidised during all school holidays (only Radmoor runs at Christmas and during half term).  Parents are encouraged to contact the playscheme organisers to ensure they are happy with the provision.  The subsidy is currently £5 per day for all 3 schemes.
