3. Matters Arising from the Minutes, not appearing elsewhere on this Agenda

4. Policy and Guidelines on the Use of Illicit Substances (DISC03-M3, Min. 26.2 refers)

To receive and consider a proposed new policy as recommended by Student Services Committee and, if agreed, to recommend to Senate that it be adopted with immediate effect.

5.         Analysis of Disciplinary Offences

            DISC04-P2

To receive and consider an analysis of offences committed during the current Academic Year.

6. LSU Disciplinary Procedures

.1 To receive and consider an analysis of penalties imposed by LSU DISC04-P3

.2 To note a schedule of minimum sanctions and fines as adopted by LSU DISC04-P4

.3 To receive and consider a paper from a Professor of the University DISC04-P5

7. Recent Major Hearings

To review any matters arising from Major Hearings conducted since the previous meeting.

Issues might include:-

                        The duty of care within the University Community
            Excessive drinking
            Pastoral care of students

8. Appeals

To consider any issues arising out of recent Appeals.

9. Membership of the Committee

To consider the proposition that the membership of the Committee be increased in order to create a larger pool from which members of Disciplinary panels can be drawn and, if agreed, to make a recommendation to Senate.

10. Student Safety

11. Student Vehicles on Campus
