(i) To note that at the Major Hearing held since the last meeting
of the Committee, the Panel determined that the offence concerned should not be
recorded on the Student Record.
(ii) To note that the Director of the Careers Service has been
advised of the Committee’s request to revise Notes for Guidance of Staff
writing references.

To note that the Chair has met
with the Chair of the Appeals Committee, together with the officers of the two
Committees.

Group

To note that the Secretary has
advised the Wardens’ Working Group of the Wardens’ right under
Ordinance XVII to relocate a student to another Hall as a penalty for a Minor
Offence.

(i) To note a memorandum from the Secretary to the Director of
Student Guidance and Welfare, and to the Head of the Wardens’ Service,
inviting observations on an indicative tariff.
