Student Services Committee

 

Terms of Reference

 

The purpose of the Student Services Committee is to enhance the welfare of students.

 

  1. To be responsible for the formulation of policy and the monitoring of performance of student services in the University.

 

  1. To propose strategies and actions in order to promote the welfare and well being of students on campus.

 

  1. To advise on the resourcing of the Student Services Sections to the Resources and Planning Committee.

 

  1. To receive reports and recommendations from all Student Guidance and Welfare Sections.

 

  1. To receive reports and recommendations from the International Student Support Network, the Residential Provision and Management Sub-Committee and the Financial Hardship Sub-Committee.

 

  1. To report to Senate and Council.

 

  1. To receive secretarial/administrative support from the Academic Registry.
