Rationale for change

In a recent initiative to re-organise its committees (SEN07-41), Senate agreed to empower Prizes Committee to make awards itself, rather than recommending them to Senate for approval. It also requested that the Committee should provide it with an annual report on prizes.

In the light of this decision, Prizes Committee has AGREED to recommend to Senate amendments to its terms and conditions to reflect this change.
