Performance Monitoring Group - Terms of Reference

The Performance Monitoring Group will monitor the performance of all sections of the University against the targets set in the Strategic and Operational Plan and report to Resources and Planning Committee

In this context the Group will

1. monitor the performance of all budgetary units within or accountable to the University.
2. receive and consider the implications of the quarterly financial reports and forecasts from all budgetary units and advise on any actions arising.
3. monitor the underlying activities which represent the University's core business, in research, teaching and business in the community and compare relevant performance indicators against competitors.
4. make recommendations on action required to appropriate University Authorities
