Subject:        Amendment to the Prizes Committee’s Terms of Reference

On the recommendation of the Chair of the Prizes Committee, Senate is asked to approve the following amendment to the Prizes Committee’s Terms of Reference

 

From:

 

1.      To collate information on the value and purposes of all prizes awarded regularly to student members of the University, however such prizes will be derived (from the proceeds of funds held by the University, or donated by persons, bodies or companies)

2.      To advise Senate upon any recommendation it may wish to make to Council further to Statute XIII.6 (xvi) and Statute XIV.6 (xvi) upon the purposes, conditions and value of any prizes that may be and have been instituted.

3.      To review and to report to Senate, and to Council, on the uses to which University Prizes are or may be put.

To:
