Draft Terms of Reference

.1         To monitor the implementation of the University's European Policy Statement (attached) and in particular:-

(a)        To review the University's recruitment strategy in regard to EU students, both exchange students and degree students;

(b)        To seek to develop cooperative programmes with other EU Universities selected from the University's current list of partners, particularly in the areas of student mobility and the joint development of curricula;

(c)        To facilitate student mobility through increased use of credit accumulation and transfer.

.2         To seek to develop student exchanges outside the European Union, and to ensure adequate quality assurance procedures.

.3         To report initially to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Teaching).
