Performance Monitoring Group

Terms of Reference

The Performance Monitoring Group will monitor the performance of all sections of the University against the targets set in the business plans and budget and report to Senate and Council.

In this context the Group will

1. monitor KPI's and the financial performance of all budgetary units within or accountable to the University, against approved plans.
2. receive and consider the implications of the quarterly financial reports and 5 year rolling forecasts from all budgetary units and advise on any actions arising.
3. monitor the underlying activities which represent the University's core business, in research, teaching, enterprise, advancement and commercial services.
4. make recommendations on action required to appropriate University Authorities.
