Subject: End of programme
feedback forms
Origin: Programme Quality
Team
The
Programme Quality Team recommends that the University requirement on
departments to collect end of programme feedback on an annual basis be lifted.
From
informal soundings, it is understood that most departments find it difficult to
collect end of programme feedback, because of problems in finding a suitable
time for administering the feedback questionnaires to achieve a reasonable
response rate. Many have already stopped
trying, especially since the introduction of the NSS which covers similar
ground.
PQ
Team would suggest that those departments that wish to collect end of programme
(or end of year) feedback from their students be free to do so, on the
understanding they would organise it themselves.
