Subject:          E-learning funds

 

In the course of 2005/06, we invested e-learning funds in wireless networking (£100k), the development of open learning spaces etc in the Library (£36.3k) and portable videoconferencing facilities (£15k).  A balance of £112k remained unspent at the end of 2005/06.

 

Bids were invited for use of the remaining funds, in line with the original HEFCE Circular 05/2005.  A small group was set up to consider the bids and its recommendations were endorsed by a meeting of the full PDQ Team on 23 October 2006.  The recommendations are set out in the attached spreadsheet, and summarised below:
