Background
Use
of hazardous substances in the workplace is matter of legislative compliance
controlled by the COSHH regulations 2002.
The
University has developed guidance in this area over a number of years but there
is no comprehensive university policy to
underpin the duties imposed by these regulations.
This
draft policy incorporates the existing guidance as appendices to a University
COSHH policy.
