1. Minutes

To confirm and sign, subject to any correction, the Minutes of the fifty-ninth meeting of General Assembly on 29 September 1999.

2. Matters Arising from the Minutes not appearing elsewhere on the Agenda

3. Vice-Chancellor's Report

To receive a report from the Vice-Chancellor on current matters.

4. Research Performance

Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research) to lead a discussion on preparation for the Research Assessment Exercise, and related issues.

5. Financial Situation

The Bursar to report on the 1999/2000 outturn, and to identify major issues in regard to the University's budget.

6. Loughborough University Medal

Registrar to present a proposal agreed by Senate.

7. Any Other Business

Any items of Any Other Business should be notified to the Secretary by midday on Monday 13 March 2000.

8. Date of Next Meeting

To be arranged.
