Subject: Actions of the Associate Dean (Teaching)
- Approving
a waiver of programme regulations to allow an undergraduate student in the
Department of Civil and Building Engineering to choose two optional
modules from group 2 in Part C programme regulations rather than one
module each from groups 1 and 2, because of timetabling difficulties.
- Approving
a waiver for two part-time MSc students in the Wolfson
School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering to enable them to
graduate despite having mixed credit weighted modules totalling 175
credits rather than the required 180 credits, following a change of
requirements since these students registered.
- Allowing
an MSc student to transfer from Water and Environmental Management to
Water and Waste Engineering.
- Allowing
an MSc Water and Waste Engineering student to transfer from full to
part-time study.
- Approving
a waiver of programme regulations to allow.a
part-time MSc Construction Project Management student to substitute an
optional module for which he originally registered during 2003-04 with one
from 2004-05. The student had been
given to understand that, as he had not undertaken any assessment for the
former, he would be permitted to substitute this with a 2004-05 option in
lieu of completing the repeat attempt, and has therefore attended the
second option.
