To confirm and sign, subject to any correction, the minutes of the sixth meeting held on 21 January 1997.
To consider proposals from IPTME for a new MSc programme to be offered in collaboration with the Universites of Nottingham (lead institution), Hull and Sheffield Hallam and funded initially through the EPSRC's Integrated Graduate Development Scheme, and to make recommendations to the Teaching and Learning Committee
To consider proposals from CHaRM, Business School, for the revision and re-titling of the existing MSc in Hazardous Waste Management and to make recommendations to the Teaching and Learning Committee.
To consider proposals from the Business School for the introduction of a new self-financing MSc programme and to make recommendations to the Teaching and Learning Committee.
To consider proposals from the Business School for a restructuring of the executive part-time MBA programme and to make recomendations to the Teaching and Learning Committee.
To consider proposals from the Department of Economics for the restructuring of its undergraduate degree programmes and to make recommendations to the Teaching and Learning Committee.
To consider proposals from the Co-operative College for the revision of the Diploma programmes validated by the University and to make recommendations to the Teaching and Learning Committee.
To consider proposals from the Co-operative College for the revision of the MBA programme in Business Development validated by the University and make recommendations to the Teaching and Learning Committee.
To consider proposals from the Department of Chemistry for the introduction of new programmes in:
* Chemistry with Environmental Chemistry
* Cemistry with a European Language
* Chemistry with Information Studies
* Chemistry with Forensic Analysis
and to make recommendations to the Teaching and Learning Committee.
Secretary's Note: These proposals have yet to be considered by the Faculty Directorate and the Operations Sub-Committee.
