Programme Specifications (M.49.1)

The Secretary reported that programme specifications were now available on the internet via the A-Z index on the Academic Registry web-site. This was seen as an interim measure in terms of making them more widely accessible. Considerable work was needed on format, structure and content and the Academic Registry TQI Action Group would bring forward recommendations to the PDQ Team. Liaison with CIS in this area would be welcomed. It was remarked that issues concerning the date and currency of documents that were installed on the web needed to be addressed University-wide. It was requested that the QE Unit examine the programme specifications of departments involved in Audit DATs and advise them of any improvements that could be made in the short term.
