University Registration

University Central Registration & Departmental Registration are both compulsory.

1. New Students - Registration Pack

If you are successful in your application to Loughborough, the booklet below will be sent to you with your registration form and other relevant information by post. Generally, students will receive their packs a couple of days after the A-Level results are published. If you have received an unconditional offer, you may receive your pack earlier. It is very important that you complete and return all the relevant forms in this pack as soon as possible.

2. New Students - Central University Registration

You are considered to be a registered student of the University once you have received your University ID card. Students living in a University hall of residence will receive their ID card on arrival and be registered automatically by the University.

Non-hall students will need to collect their ID card from the Quorn Lecture Theatre in the Edward Herbert Building between 12:30pm and 5pm on Friday 25 September 2009. [Map Link]

You will not receive your student loan unless you have registered with the University.

3. New Students - Departmental Registration

In addition to registering centrally, if you are an Undergraduate, Postgraduate or PGCE student you must also register for your programme of study within your department. Each department/programme has a specific registration session, details of the session you need to attend can be found by following the relevant link below. Please note: If information for your department is not yet available please re-check this site at a later date.

1. Returning Students - Re-registration

Returning students must also re-register centrally at the beginning of the academic year. You are considered to be re-registered once you have received a new sticker for the back of your ID Card.
